Just something i'd like to share to you all... some may already know but i just recently discovered....

Did you ever stumble upon some great photoshop-brushes that you wish you could use within piranesi? Lets say some like these?

Then you might have experienced the problem that those brushes are .abr files and hence they are useless for any other program then photoshop.

Well, i've found this free little program that 'de-assembles' the .abr file into seperate .png files.

http://abrviewer.sourceforge.net/

So, using the style-builder, you can now create piranesi brushes from these .png files...

Here's a quick example using converted photoshop brushes for rain, clouds, lightning, branches, splatter and skylines for a very ...uhm... weird render:
