Hi Davide,

Sorry, Piranesi 5 doesn't have batch processing for multiple images.

But there's a free program called AutoIt that might make Piranesi do this - I'll take a look.

Are you using the Italian version of Piranesi, or the English version?

Regards,
David

Hi Davide,

Ok, I've tried AutoIt (from www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/downloads.shtml (http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/downloads.shtml)).

It can drive Piranesi from commands in a text file, selecting menus, clicking windows, opening files etc. It's not easy to set up but looks useful.

I've attached a zip file with piranesi_batch.exe. This asks for a folder, then runs Piranesi 5 and opens each EPix file in this folder. It selects multifill, clicks on the window to draw the multifill, exports to PNG and closes the EPix file (without saving changes).

I've also included my script piranesi_batch.au3 but you need to install AutoIt to run this directly.

Before using it:

Run Piranesi
Select menu View/Reset Tools
Select the multifill tool and choose the library/category for the multifill you want (it will go faster if you select "Suspend drawing until completed").
Go to Edit/Preferences and select "Load previous session's settings at startup"
Exit Piranesi

Now run piranesi_batch.exe (or piranesi_batch.au3 if you have AutoIt installed) and select a folder of EPix files.

If you need to stop the script, click on the AutoIt icon in the system tray (bottom right) and choose Exit.

Let me know if you want to do something different, or if it doesn't work ;-)

Regards,
David

Disclaimer: AutoIt is developed by a different company - please decide for yourself whether you want to use it.

[updated to set folder in Piranesi - was using EPix files folder as set in Preferences/File locations]
